Board Vacancies

Dear Southlake Estates Neighbors,

Thanks for your support in helping to make Southlake the best place to live in the area. We need your help to maintain The Estates’ voice on the Southlake Board of Directors. This help only requires that you are able to commit your talent and 1 evening a month for a meeting.

The SRA Board of Director members serve for 3-year terms. The number of board member places are allocated to our neighborhoods based on the relative size of each so there are 2 members from The Estates. Estates board member, Scott Sheppard has determined that he cannot complete his term due to expire in April 2021 (we’ll call this Place 1) and Estates board member Johnny Richardson’s term ends in April 2020. (we’ll call this Place2).

So, we have 2 board member vacancies that need to be filled soon to ensure that The Estates is properly represented on the SRA Board. Our Covenants require that new terms (Place 2) be filled by a vote of the SRA members in April but allow unexpired positions (Place 1) to be filled immediately by a vote of the Board of Directors.

The Estates is a vital part of Southlake and we have important issues to deal with in 2020. Please consider volunteering you time and talents for these important positions or if you know someone who lives in The Estates pass this on them.
